TOPIC:  Pennies…

Pennies are pretty useless.  Some folks have even tried to get rid of them altogether but they still manage to hold on.  Dad told me that he used to wear penny loafers back in the day, but even then, he said, he put nickels in the coin slots instead of pennies.  Sounds like some sort of social economic issue.  Anyway, the penny is very disrespected.  People make jewelry out of them, squash them on railroad tracks, and even substitute them for fuses in fuse panels (do humans still have those?).  Even old Abe Lincoln is facing the wrong way on his coin.  The only thing I can figure is that his other profile must have been lousy.  Please feel free to take a penny on your way out if you need one.

... Joke Joke ...

Q:  Which American president was least guilty?

A:  Lincoln, of course.

He was in a cent.

I told this joke at Mount Rushmore and the park ranger hit me.
