Bowling isn't as popular as it used to be. In fact, a lot of the
bowling alleys have closed. The reasons are many, but I think one
of the driving forces had to do with the banning of tobacco products.
I mean, remember when you used to be able to go to the alley and choke
down a pack of cigs without anyone getting all up in your face about it?
Dad says that people should have been grateful, because then you could
smoke in the alleys even if you weren't a smoker. It was like FREE
smoke. It was a deal for everyone. Another one of life's
more serious moments for The Skipster was when, much to my surprise, I
found out that the movie 300 was not about bowling. That is all.
