TOPIC:  Bowling…

Bowling isn't as popular as it used to be.  In fact, a lot of the bowling alleys have closed.  The reasons are many, but I think one of the driving forces had to do with the banning of tobacco products.  I mean, remember when you used to be able to go to the alley and choke down a pack of cigs without anyone getting all up in your face about it?  Dad says that people should have been grateful, because then you could smoke in the alleys even if you weren't a smoker.  It was like FREE smoke.  It was a deal for everyone.  Another one of life's more serious moments for The Skipster was when, much to my surprise, I found out that the movie 300 was not about bowling.  That is all.

"Bowling is the ideal sport.
It's basically an hour of drinking beer,
occasionally interrupted by six seconds of exercise."
