TOPIC:  Holiday Weekend …

Now that the long holiday weekend is over I can finally go back to work and try to get some rest.  I know some dawgs don't like fireworks because of our keen hearing, but I thought they were pretty awesome.  The best part of the weekend was feasting on hotdogs and other meat products.  The buns were quickly discarded and replaced with bacon wraps.  Party on Garth.

Open and Shut Case ...

A carpenter was giving evidence about an accident he had witnessed.  The lawyer for the defendant was trying to discredit him and asked him how far away he was from the accident.

The carpenter replied, "Twenty-seven feet, six and one-half inches."

"What?  How come you are so sure of that distance?" asked the lawyer.

"Well, I knew sooner or later some idiot would ask me.  So I measured it!" replied the carpenter.
