I tried my hand at veterinary medicine a few years back.  The pay was good but I finally had to give it up because of all the rodent cat care I had to render.  Caring for cats is pretty much contrary to the dawg code.  A lot of the cats I treated were just there trying to get cat nip prescriptions.  And let me tell ya, there's not much worse that a cat strung out on Nip.
